Marissa Glase, the creative behind MG ART, is a recent graduate of UNC Wilmington's Studio Art program. Upon completing her degree, Glase searched for opportunities to create her own freelance art business. With networking and support from her community, Glase built a commercial client base within Wilmington's The Cargo District. Whilst holding a part-time bartending job, Glase completed 10 murals & numerous digital design projects in her first year of operation. MG ART has developed to a full-time job for Glase, with a constant stream of referrals and repeat clientele.
from the artist:
"The ideology behind MG ART is that I am a translator for what the client wants to create. I am a creative problem solver, my #1 goal is to ensure visions are met while adhering to the design principles and elements that I've been trained in. I believe art should be accessible and understood by the masses. In the world of commercial mural & brand designs communication and being clever is the key."
