Marissa Glase is a visual artist and designer based in Wilmington, NC, specializing in large-scale murals and brand identity design. Glase is a 2023 UNCW alumna, she earned her B.A. in Studio Art while immersing herself in the city’s creative small business community—laying the foundation for a career rooted in meaningful local connection.
Marissa Glase’s impact on the region is just beginning. Her projects reflect a deep investment in the city’s identity—not just visually, but socially. She sees public art as more than beautification; it’s infrastructure, storytelling, and community connection.
Her vision is bold: more murals, more accessible art, and more artists at the table. With each project, she’s helping shape a Wilmington that’s more colorful, more connected, and more creatively alive.
